We are looking for you, if you:

• have very good knowledge of Java 17+, Spring framework, GIT and Maven,
• are not afraid of challenges related to monitoring production system and incident solving,
• are able to identify problems, analyse key information and propose the best solutions,
• are a team player,
• have min. 5 years of experience on similar position or so.

English level - B2

You'll get extra points for:

• experience in batch file processing solutions,
• Kafka, Docker and S3 storage knowledge,
• IT Service Management knowledge
• Agile and DevOps knowledge,
• code testing skills.

Your responsibilities:

• analysis and development of new features and maintaining existing ones,
• assist the Paper&Send squad and related squads in required tasks like collecting logs for investigation, doing checks after changes/patches etc.,
• fully contribute to improving the Paper&Send squad’s processes whilst also ensuring all mandatory requirements such as IT risk control, change control etc. are adhered to,
• attend daily, weekly and bi-weekly meetings with the Paper&Send squad,
• contribute to improvements and be proactively engaged in the teams Scrum ceremonies.

In this role as Java Dev Engineer you will be part of the Paper&Send DevOps team which is responsible for getting all paper communication to ING clients (currently in NL and BE).
