• Create application architecture, flow charts, and specification documents
• Write clean, efficient code, and test features before release
• Troubleshoot issues, debug programs, and ensure applications perform well

• Help junior developers and evaluate third-party products
• Have extensive experience with the Java programming language, frameworks, and best practices
• Have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Have knowledge of databases and version control tools
• Have knowledge of design patterns and testing methodologies
• Know how to implement security and data protection measures
• Have a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field
