About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in building scalable, high-performance backend systems. As part of our development team, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust backend services using Java, contributing to a modern microservices architecture. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services within a microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Work closely with DevOps and cloud teams to deploy and scale services in AWS or similar cloud environments.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and related patterns.
• Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and related Java frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms is a strong plus.
• Proficient in relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in agile software development environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
• Knowledge of security best practices for backend systems.
