Our expanding team is looking for

Senior IT Project Manager - Budapest

to our branch office in Budapest (district VII).

Responsibilities

• Managing large-scale implementation and integration projects
• Planning and executing full project cycles: scope, schedule, cost, and risk management
• Coordinating and assigning project tasks
• Leading and documenting project status meetings
• Maintaining continuous communication with stakeholders (clients and internal teams)
• Managing project resources effectively
• Prioritizing tasks and handling change requests
• Reporting to the PMO and overseeing budgets and timelines
• Handling project administration and documentation
• Collaborating with external partners
• Supporting proposal writing and contract preparation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or IT
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in software development or implementation projects, preferably in the banking and/or IT sectors
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile)
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills (motivating teams, delegating tasks, tracking progress, evaluating individual performance)
• Proven experience in managing and coordinating teams
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively manage escalations and resolve issues
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and Office 365
• Advanced level of business English, both written and spoken
• Advantage: Experience in managing banking projects
• Advantage: PMI or Agile-related certifications (e.g. PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master)
