Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer with a strong background in both active and passive IT equipment, along with expertise in security and safety systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience implementing, managing, and troubleshooting complex IT infrastructure while maintaining robust security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure including networks, servers, and storage systems
• Manage both active IT equipment (switches, routers, firewalls) and passive components (cabling, racks, physical infrastructure)
• Develop and implement comprehensive security protocols for information systems and physical infrastructure
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of safety systems including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across the organization
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement remediation measures
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and project teams
• Stay current with emerging technologies and security threats
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure management with focus on networking and security
• Proven experience with active network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise-grade systems)
• Strong knowledge of passive infrastructure (structured cabling, patch panels, racks)
• Experience implementing and managing security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection)
• Proficiency with network security tools, firewalls, and VPNs
• Experience with server environments (Windows Server, Linux)
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+)
• Background in physical security integration with IT systems
  
  

Industry Specific Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience implementing IT systems in 5-star hotels (strongly preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of network topology and architecture for commercial and hospitality environments
• Expertise in WiFi deployment for high-density usage areas
• Proficiency with active network component configuration and redundancy implementation
• Familiarity with IoT and smart building technologies
• Experience with client requirement gathering and solution design
