Our technology solutions team is seeking an experienced Financial Software Transformation Senior IT Finance Program Manager consultant to lead a large modernization program within our global Media & Entertainment client. This will be a dynamic environment and will involve a full program overseeing multiple projects and workstreams across business stakeholders, product and engineering teams. You will also be able to lead a combination of full time employee (FTE), consultants, and various vendors together to achieve a singular outcome. The Program Manager will need to set up a program infrastructure, documentation standards, metrics, and a reporting methodology to be able to monitor progress and provide comprehensive updates to stakeholders. There will be several project managers and internal Product leads that you will have working in collaboration across our client's environment, working together to achieve success. Our role as a partner will be to ensure seamless coordination and execution of the workstreams, projects, tasks, and resources required to facilitate delivery per requirements. This is a full scale program that will include design, build, test and deployment that meets all governance, functional and technical requirements. Having the ability to manage complex cross-functional environments across the business and IT groups will be very important in the program's successful outcome. The ideal person will have a strong background in financial systems or applications and experience with transformation software projects and programs. Exceptional executive communication skills will be essential for this project. Preference will be given to those with experience having successfully delivered at least two prior programs, and at least one financial software transformation project.   • Develop and manage program plans, timelines, and budgets, while addressing scope creep and change management.
  • Lead and manage resource teams that include FTEs, consultants, and a multi-varied vendor environment.
  • Engage with business stakeholders, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and collaboration, overcoming challenges in stakeholder engagement.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments, to address documentation and reporting challenges.
  • Develop and implement metrics and dashboards to track program progress and performance, ensuring effective performance metrics.
  • Provide regular updates and status reports to executive leadership and stakeholders, addressing the need for clear communication.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks to ensure successful delivery, tackling risk management challenges.
  • Allocate resources effectively across projects and work streams, managing resource allocation challenges.
  • Lead and coordinate complex cross-functional teams across business and IT departments, ensuring coordination and alignment.
  • Oversee the transformation of large financial applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and managing budget challenges.
  • Communicate program status, challenges, and successes to executive leadership, addressing leadership experience challenges.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale programs and projects, including scope creep and change management.
  • Strong ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, overcoming engagement challenges.
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining detailed program documentation, addressing reporting challenges.
  • Proficiency in developing and utilizing metrics and dashboards, ensuring effective performance tracking.

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $75.00-$90.00/per hour, depending on experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
