Position Overview

The Senior IT Business Analyst will play a critical role in understanding, analyzing, and translating business needs into technical solutions while managing IT-related projects from initiation to completion. Working cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Manufacturing departments, you'll identify unarticulated customer requirements and drive technology-enabled business improvements. This role requires a strong foundation in business analysis, system development lifecycle (SDLC), and project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall. Experience with ERP and CRM platforms, particularly QAD ERP and Salesforce.com, is highly valuable as you'll be leading multiple initiatives while balancing business goals with technical feasibility.

What You Will Do

• Serve as the liaison between IT and business stakeholders to define and document business requirements
• Analyze business processes to identify improvement and optimization opportunities
• Lead end-to-end project management efforts, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies while maintaining clear stakeholder communication
• Work with technical teams to translate business requirements into effective system solutions
• Conduct business process modeling, gap analysis, and feasibility studies
• Develop comprehensive project plans, business cases, and requirement specifications
• Collaborate with business leaders to establish key performance indicators and success metrics
• Oversee testing, validation, and user acceptance processes before solution deployment
• Provide training and support to business users on newly implemented solutions
  
  

Skills For Success

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in IT business analysis and project management
• Experience with ERP (QAD) and CRM (Salesforce.com) systems
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) and SDLC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with talent for identifying unarticulated business needs
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and fostering team collaboration
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred
