The role is part of our Digital Front Door tribe, playing a pivotal role in shaping the underlying infrastructure for mobile and web banking solutions at Danske Bank. We specialise in developing robust applications for retail customers across Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and the United Kingdom.

The workplace is located in Vilnius, and Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility through our hybrid work model, where employees work at least three days in the office. Please note that this role does not include a relocation allowance.
Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer a different level of seniority for the role.
You will:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of iOS applications using Swift and modern development practices
- Engage in discussions on mobile architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and reliable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, Product Owners, and Back-End developers, to deliver seamless, user-focused mobile experiences
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability align with Danske Bank standards
- Support the integration of our mobile platform with Backbase (while prior experience is beneficial, onboarding and training will be provided)
- Stay up to date with industry trends and introduce relevant improvements to the iOS codebase
- Guide and support other developers by sharing knowledge and best practices across the squad
About you:
- 4+ years of professional experience in iOS development with a strong track record of shipping production-grade apps
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage across teams
- Solid understanding of end-to-end mobile architecture, including frontend, backend integration, security, and persistence
- Expertise in Swift and SwiftUI, with deep knowledge of iOS architecture and development lifecycle
- In-depth experience with CocoaPods for dependency management
- Proficient in RESTful API integration and Git-based source control
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Backbase is beneficial, but willingness to learn is essential
- Upper-Intermediate English skills

Monthly salary range from 4320 EUR to 6480 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
