Senior Software / Application Engineer opportunity for financial business in Luxembourg to spearhead growing out a new department.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the management and maintenance of critical business applications within the B2B insurance domain.
• Provide expert-level technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex application issues.
• Design, develop, and implement application enhancements and integrations.
• Drive automation and optimization of business and development workflows.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Manage relationships with external partners and vendors.
• Lead and contribute to solution and enterprise integration architecture initiatives.
• Actively manage your backlog, prioritize tasks, and deliver results efficiently.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and embrace agile methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer
• Proficiency in C#, .NET
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, REST/SOAP APIs, and authentication methods
• Azure Cloud (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) and Enterprise Scale Architecture OR Microsoft Dynamics or Power Platform.
• Experience with CRM, Document Management, Input/Output Management, and/or Portals is a plus.
