As we continue to grow and expand globally, we’re looking for a talented Senior Infrastructure Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping our technological landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend System Enhancement: Develop robust APIs and services using Python (FastAPI, Pydantic) to integrate with our advanced AI systems.
• Infrastructure Development: Design and optimize cloud-based infrastructures that support our AI platform and automation services.
• AI Workload Management: Architect scalable compute solutions to enable efficient processing and real-time interactions.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Build and maintain systems that facilitate scalable and real-time data processing.
• Efficient Workflow Management: Implement solutions to streamline complex AI processes and facilitate automation.
• Real-Time Communication: Enhance communication frameworks to improve user experience across our platforms.
• Document Management Solutions: Develop indexing and retrieval systems for efficient document handling.
• Data Pipeline Creation: Design ETL pipelines to collect and process data from a variety of sources.
• Infrastructure Decision-Making: Advocate for architectural decisions that ensure scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Support for Research Teams: Provide infrastructure and tools that empower our AI and data research initiatives.

Tech Stack:

• Full-Stack Development: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind, Prisma
• Database Management: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
• Cloud Solutions: AWS, Google Cloud, Serverless Architectures
• Data Pipelines: DBT, BigQuery, Terraform
• Backend Programming: Python

Qualifications:

• Backend Development Proficiency: Strong skills in Python, FastAPI, and Pydantic.
• Infrastructure Expertise: Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, S3, ECS, etc.) and Terraform.
• Event-Driven Systems Understanding: Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures using tools like Kafka or Redis Streams.
• Workflow Orchestration: Knowledge of managing solutions for long-running workflows.
• Real-Time Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with communication protocols including WebSockets.
• Data Engineering Experience: Ability to build scalable ETL pipelines and work with diverse data types.
• Security Awareness: Understanding of cloud security practices and infrastructure reliability.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong debugging abilities for distributed systems.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in optimising and managing AI workloads in a production environment.
• Familiarity with vector databases.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes for application management.
• Previous exposure to technology solutions in a regulatory context is advantageous.
