Key Responsibilities Conducting analysis, design and implement technical solutions to meet client requirements and specifications Translates detailed design specifications into technical solutions building data integration processes, populating data-marts, and creating dashboard and reports Identify and implement root cause fixes to program, system and/or applications errors Prepares technical specification documentations Involvement in migration projects Develop complex queries that are used by front end applications Document and maintain a robust knowledge base of resolved issues, guidance materials and user FAQs Experience in understanding business needs and translating to functional/technical requirements Requirements Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, Snow Pipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures Experience in Snowflake SQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake Developing scripts UNIX, Python etc. to do Extract, Load and Transform data In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and modelling structure principles Experience in Data warehousing – OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts and Data modelling Good working knowledge of any ETL tool (preferably Informatica) Good to have familiarity with data visualization tools Experience in MSBI stack Strong fundamentals in problem solving, complexity analysis, and data visualization Flexible and versatile to adapt to any new environment with a strong desire to keep pace with latest technologies Possess Problem Solving, Analytical, and Interpersonal skills with result-oriented dedication towards goals Capable of working as a Team Member or Individually with minimum supervision High motivation, strong work-ethic and positive attitude while working under tight timelines Strong attention to detail and focus on quality Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with 6+ years of experience in Data management (e.g. DW/BI) solutions Minimum 3 years’ experience in Snowflake and Informatica
