ABOUT THE POSITION
Position Summary
This position trains new HR employees and works on special projects. This position will work no more than 14 hours/week or 67 days in a calendar year.
Responsibilities
Training (90%)
* Train new HR team members in areas including (but not limited to):
* University and Libraries policies, contracts, and rules
* PeopleSoft entries and reporting
* Absence management
Special Projects (10%)
* Complete special projects as requested by the HR Director
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
* Experience making human resources entries in PeopleSoft
* Experience pulling reports from the Reporting Center
* Previous experience in human resources at the University of Minnesota
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to explain complex information in an understandable way
* Strong attention to detail
Pay and Benefits
Pay: $42.00/hour
