This firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Highway Project Manager to join our team in NYC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in highway design, with specific experience in Safe Routes to School programs. This role requires a leader who can manage complex transportation projects, ensure quality control, and foster client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead highway and traffic engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables with precision.
• Provide expert technical guidance and ensure top-notch quality control.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand our transportation services.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, including state, county, and municipal agencies.
• Prepare compelling proposals, showcasing innovative technical approaches and competitive pricing.
• Ensure compliance with NYSDOT, LDSA, SEQRA, and NEPA processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in New York State.
• 10-15 years of experience in highway and traffic engineering.
• Proven experience with Safe Routes to School programs.
