About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled Senior HPC Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this position, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our large client-server based IT enterprise. Your responsibilities will include: * Installing, configuring, and networking UNIX and NT based platforms * Creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts, performing system backups, and maintaining system configuration files * Developing and implementing enterprise backup/recovery strategies, server configuration, and consolidation * Providing support for enterprise services such as DNS, NFS, email services, security protection mechanisms, and interoperability of UNIX and NT based systems * Administering multi-vendor servers, HPC farm systems, and clustered systems * Troubleshooting and optimizing system performance #LI-PB2Required Education, Experience, & Skills To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, and 10 years of experience in system administration and support of a large client-server based IT enterprise * A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph * Experience with installation, configuration, and networking of UNIX and/or NT based platforms * Familiarity with operating systems, including UNIX or NT commands and utilities * A Security+ certification is required. * Industry-recognized professional certifications, such as RHCSA or VMWare, are a plus. MDOPS Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $150545 - $263455 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
