Senior Hardware Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join a pioneering company specialising in optics-based technologies. This role involves developing advanced hardware systems for innovative optical devices used in secure communication, sensing, and imaging applications.

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will lead the design and development of optical hardware, including PCB design, analog and digital circuits, and system integration. You’ll collaborate closely with physicists, software engineers, and product teams to create high-performance solutions for next-generation optical devices. This hands-on role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge technologies at the forefront of the optics industry.

The ideal Senior Hardware Engineer will have:

• Expertise in analog and digital circuit design and PCB development.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces, signal integrity, and hardware testing.
• Proficiency in tools like Altium Designer or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of optical technologies or secure communication systems is a plus.
