Senior Google Cloud Architect (German Speaking ) – Consultancy – AI / Data

Oliver Bernard are currently working with an AI and Data focused consultancy seeking a Senior Google Cloud Architect to join their team as they look to scale and expand their presence across the globe. With office across the UK, Europe and US, the team are looking to expand into new markets and, as such, are looking to make a Senior level hire in the Cloud Architecture team as they look to drive their solutions across the Architectural estates of their clients.

To be considered for this role, you’ll ideally come from a Development / Software Engineering background, before then transitioning into DevOps and Cloud Architect focused roles. Alongside the technical expertise required across Google Cloud Architecture, a strong ability to be client facing is also required as this role will involve engaging with clients on a daily basis, understanding their needs, and building / developing solutions to their problems.

This position is remote first, but requires the incoming Architect to be based in Zurich (for when on-site visits are required), and you must also be German speaking to be considered, whilst having experience with the following:

• Extensive experience as a Google Cloud Architect
• Knowledge of GCP and GCP Services
• Prior hands-on experience across Containers (Docker, Kubernetes etc)
• Programming experience with Python and / or Java
• Knowledge of Data orientated technologies
• Must be comfortable in a client facing and pre-sales capacity
• Must have the ability to built and implement customer solutions

This is a Senior level hire, and based on experience can offer 120-140K CHF p/year, alongside benefits.
