Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer a major offshore wind developer based in Denmark

Responsibilities.

• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on geotechnical design issues.
• Develop and implement geotechnical design procedures.
• Participate in research programs to ensure the business stays up to date with the latest developments in the industry.
• Lead and undertake foundation design tasks, specifically monopile foundations, using both PLAXIS and in-house developed tools.
• Make foundation installation analyses using both commercial and in-house tools.
• Prepare geotechnical design reports and other project related documents.
• Collaborate with other disciplines, including structural, Loads and Site investigation.

Requirements

• A master's degree in civil engineering with a geotechnical specialization.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Experience with offshore foundation design, preferably including monopile design experience.
• Experience with foundation design using software similar to PLAXIS.
• Proficiency in programming in MatLab and Python for interfaces with design software.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g. API, DNV or ISO).
• The ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
