Thomas & Herbert Consulting LLC Senior Geospatial Intelligence Analyst Job description Thomas & Herbert Consulting LLC (T&H), a leading small-business provider of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) solutions for the DOD/Intelligence Community, is seeking a Senior Geospatial Intelligence Analysts to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), other Intelligence Community (IC) customers, and our DoD Mentor Protégé Program initiatives. Required Experience: Mandatory position requirements include the following: · Must be cleared at the TOP SECRET/SCI level. · Direct experience and background in intelligence, defense, international relations, or public administration in multi-disciplines · Direct experience with NGA and have extensive relationships and a stellar reputation with NGA’s GEOINT leaders via working with NGA leaders to meet their GEOINT requirements. · Minimum 10 years of experience performing advanced-level geospatial, topographic, and imagery analysis in support of Special Operations missions with regional and point analysis products to support the Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, and Analyze Targeting methodology. · 10 years of progressive experience with operational and tactical level intelligence performing complex and timely geospatial, topographic, and imagery analysis techniques and methods of ground feature and remotely sensed data, to include general experience in the fields of targeting, collection, and geospatial methodologies to solve complex intelligence problems. · Hands-on work experience and demonstrate proficiency in geospatial and intelligence data management within various OGC-compliant applications and databases, and experience performing as a GEOINT leader. · Highly proficient in utilizing GIS applications and intelligence-related automation to support analytical efforts and product development. · Performs imagery analysis and production and possesses a broad understanding of collection processes and management. · Research, train, document, and implement geospatial processing methodologies to solve complex tactical intelligence problems · Minimum of 8 years experience directly supporting IC and military operations in both garrison and deployed environments. · Proficient in the use of GIS technologies, such as the ESRI suite, MapInfo, Google Earth and related GEOINT tools. · Proficient in the use of desktop productions, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Adobe illustrator plugin “MaPublisher”. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Direct experience authoring GEOINT solutions for proposal initiatives. This includes reading, evaluating and interpreting RFPs/RFQs technical requirements from the statement of work (SOW), leading and participating in solutioning meetings, writing technical content that articulates GEOINT methodologies/solutions/approaches in accordance with SOW requirements, and participating in reviews of proposals to ensure compliance with evaluation criteria. · Knowledge of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/MI), and computer scripting languages such as Python, R, Visual Basic, C++, or Java. · GEOINT systems, data and collaboration environments. · In-depth understanding of GEOINT mission background in Analysis (required) and Source (desired). · Experience finding gaps and providing recommendations for solutions to meet user needs. · Demonstrated ability to serve as the lead GEOINT analyst and to work independently and as a part of the team to manage competing demands, while remaining flexible to changing priorities. · Ability to lead client and partner discussions and deliberations with subject matter experts and policy makers to make informed decisions. · Ability to dissect, detect and document mistakes, findings, errors, and missed requirements within a GEOINT product. · Extensive understanding of maps and geography. · Extensive understanding of imagery phenomenology. Educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (including, but not limited to, Remote Sensing, GIS, Activity-based Intelligence (ABI), Cartography, or Geography).
