Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Game Systems / Game Progression Programmer to design, implement, and maintain scalable systems that drive player progression, game economy, and core gameplay loops. You will collaborate closely with designers, gameplay engineers, and LiveOps teams to create smooth, rewarding experiences for players.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop robust systems for player progression, rewards, achievements, and game economies.
• Implement core gameplay systems in Unreal Engine (C++ and Blueprints).
• Collaborate with game designers to translate design requirements into technical systems.
• Optimize code for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Integrate backend systems to support LiveOps features like progression tracking and seasonal events.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex gameplay/system issues during development and after launch.
• Write clear documentation for systems architecture and implementation details.
• Support telemetry integration to track system usage and player behavior for future tuning.
• Stay updated on industry best practices related to game systems, economy balancing, and scalable architecture.
  
  

Qualifications



• 5+ years of professional programming experience in game development.
• Strong C++ programming skills; proficiency with Unreal Engine is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience building gameplay systems, player progression, or economy systems.
• Solid understanding of game architecture, data-driven development, and network replication basics.
• Familiarity with balancing, LiveOps support, and scalable backend integration is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• A passion for games and delivering high-quality player experiences.
