We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our team in Helsinki. You are part of our Digital Development team, where we work together with a group of experts in the restaurant business and build our new restaurant related services. We work in a hybrid setting so it would be great if you could work from our office Ässäkeskus in Helsinki on average 1-3 days per week.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be working with our restaurant related digital services. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing complex applications and integrations between applications. Work will include frontend and backend development and architecture planning.

Your daily tasks include

• Design and development of complex applications, integrations and services
• Involvement in planning and refining work related to frontend and backend capabilities and estimating work
• Involvement in risk analysis, monitoring & ops work
• Planning and implementing complex data models
• Deploying the solution you build with the help of our platform engineering team
• Testing your code
• Participating in reviews, and retros
  
  

Is this you?

You have a passion for web application development and strong experience in building React applications, APIs and/ or microservices. You are curious and analytical and have proven leadership and effective communication skills in English. You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

What We Hope From You

• Strong experience in frontend and backend development
• Experience with statically typed languages. (we use Go)
• Experience in creating web applications with React and TypeScript
• Database experience (we use for example DynamoDB and PostgreSQL)
• AWS (or other cloud) experience, in deploying, debugging, and maintaining software
• Familiar with unit testing and integration testing
• Understanding of CI/CD tooling
• Speaking Finnish is an advantage, but definitely not necessary
• Event-driven architecture experience is a plus (we use for example Kafka and AWS SQS)
