Summary

Tasks

  • Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.

  • Lead the redesign of a key dashboard component in React.

  • Optimize database queries and schema design in PostgreSQL.

  • Review and merge pull requests from junior developers.

  • Set up CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI team to implement pixel-perfect designs.

  • Refactor legacy codebase from jQuery to modern React hooks.

  • Guide the team on best practices for state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand).

  • Integrate third-party services (e.g., Stripe, Auth0, Firebase).

  • Perform performance audits and implement improvements (Lighthouse, Web Vitals).


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development (Node.js + React preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Proficiency in front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.

  • Deep understanding of backend development (REST APIs, authentication, caching).

  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

  • Hands-on with DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel, Heroku).

  • Comfortable leading a team and mentoring junior developers.

  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Mocha).

  • Good understanding of Git, code review processes, and agile methodology.

  • Ability to balance tech debt and product deadlines wisely.
