We're looking for a versatile intermediate to senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team working with our flagship client in the EdTech space. You'll be hands-on in building innovative solutions that operate at scale, collaborating with a team of senior engineers, and integrating hand rolled AI solutions into an ever evolving product used by thousands of students daily.

Tech:

Ruby on Rails, Postgresql, React, Next.js, Typescript, Go, AWS

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of web, mobile and desktop applications Help scale a stack to 10x it's capacity while keeping infrastructure costs within budget Write clean, efficient code across multiple programming languages and frameworks Work closely with our clients to understand requirements and implement solutions Collaborate with our AI partners at InferAI to integrate AI capabilities into our products Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance Build proof of concepts, present technical ideas and innovations; you'll be given space and time to think of unique ways to improve the product

Location & Work Arrangement:

We're based in Sandton, Johannesburg but embrace a flexible work approach. You can work remotely, though we encourage visiting our vibrant office at least once a week for team collaboration, brainstorming sessions, and some chill time with the team.

Salary:

Experience dependent, range likely R60 000 - R90 000 per month not including annual bonuses.
