About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team in Amsterdam. This is a hands-on role focused on building and managing robust applications, with a particular emphasis on resilience, stability, and seamless integration into our systems. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications with a focus on both backend and frontend technologies.
• Leverage expertise in Golang and TypeScript to deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
• Act as a bridge between the Kubernetes ecosystem (API and resource management) and application development, ensuring resilience and stability.
• Design and optimize systems utilizing Redis and MinIO for data management and caching.
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Utilize and manage development tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, npm, skaffold, and Helm to streamline the development process.
• Contribute to documentation and coding standards, serving as an example for peers in quality and approach.
• Collaborate with the team to explore new technologies and implement innovative solutions.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to application management, IT security, and problem-solving.
• Empathize with team members and stakeholders, promoting collaboration and diverse perspectives.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills, preferably backed by a formal education in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Fluent in multiple programming languages, with Golang and TypeScript as primary strengths.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with the Kubernetes API and resource management.
• Familiarity with Redis, MinIO, and MarkLogic (experience with MarkLogic is a strong advantage).
• Basic understanding of IT security practices.
• Knowledge of finance is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable with agile methodologies and a team-oriented work environment.
