Job description:

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our team and take ownership of designing and delivering scalable, high-performance software solutions. You will design and lead the implementation of technical solutions for new tenders, mentor junior and mid-level developers, and participate in the hiring process by conducting technical interviews.

As a senior developer, your primary focus will be on backend development, but you will also contribute to frontend applications and cloud infrastructure. You’ll work with modern technologies across the stack in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• You will design and lead implementation of technical solutions for new tenders.
• Design and develop scalable backend solutions primarily using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with architects and product owners to define system architecture and API contracts.
• Build and maintain frontend features using React or Angular.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
• Participate in the interview process to help identify top engineering talent.
• Ensure code quality through automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Deploy and monitor services using DevOps tools and best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment.

Must Have:

• Successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable training (e.g. IT specialist for application development);
• Several years of experience with Java;
• Strong experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring WebFlux).
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, or similar tools for automated testing.
• Experience working with REST APIs, OAuth2, and OpenAPI Specification.
• Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend development using React or Angular.
• Cloud experience with AWS (Lambda, EC2, DynamoDB, SQS, IAM, EKS) or Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Python for scripting or data tasks.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB, or other NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka and Schema Registry.
• Experience with Ansible, Helm, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Exposure to Auth0, PingFederate, or Microsoft Entra ID for authentication/SSO.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience with JMeter, WireMock, or performance and service virtualization tools.
• Exposure to Machine Learning (ML) or AI concepts is a plus.
• Experience in automated UI testing using Selenium or similar tools.
