Summary

Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer (10+ years) to lead the design and development of a scalable, enterprise-grade observability platform. This role requires deep technical expertise in building real-time monitoring and data visualization solutions across complex, distributed systems. As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture, driving performance optimizations, and ensuring seamless integration of observability tools with our platform infrastructure. Responsibilities * Architect and build scalable observability capabilities using Elasticsearch, Grafana, and custom visualization solutions. * Lead the design and implementation of full-stack applications using Node.js and React.js in production environments. * Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to integrate observability into critical enterprise systems. * Optimize data models and performance for large-scale telemetry in Cosmos DB or similar NoSQL databases. * Develop and manage RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices to support real-time metrics and logs ingestion. * Drive the adoption of DevOps and CI/CD practices; automate builds, deployments, and testing pipelines. * Mentor and guide junior engineers, lead code reviews, and ensure best practices in software development. * Engage with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-impact solutions based on business needs. Compensation and Benefits: * The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100. * Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications * 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, particularly in observability, platform engineering, or DevOps. * Strong expertise in Elasticsearch, Grafana, and metrics/log management solutions. * Extensive experience with Node.js and React.js, including optimization and scalability for production environments. * Deep knowledge of Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). * Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. * Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools. * Bachelor degree required, Computer Science preferred * Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for distributed systems and performance optimization. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders across teams.
