We’re Hiring: Senior Full Stack Developer (Remote – LATAM-based Candidates Only, Full-Time Freelance)

Ever wanted to build tech that powers epic nights out? Now’s your chance.

We’re State of Play Hospitality, the team behind Flight Club Darts USA and AceBounce, and we’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our small-but-mighty Product team.

Working directly with our CTPO + 2 Developers in the UK, while collaborating daily with our Chicago-based Marketing and Sales teams. Together, we’re evolving the digital homes of Flight Club USA and AceBounce—so your work will help party-loving guests discover, book, and experience the best social venues in the game.

What You’ll Be Building

  • New features, pages, and booking flows for flightclubdartsusa.com and acebounce.com.
  • Slick front-end experiences using AlpineJS
  • Rock-solid backends powered by PHP (Laravel, WordPress).
  • Seamless connections between our sites, external booking engines, and internal tools

Why You’ll Love This

  • Work on brands that are fun with teams that are passionate about them.
  • Join a small, experienced product team that follows best practices and outcome-driven processes—we focus on business impact, not sprint points.
  • Collaborate across time zones—working EST/CST hours to align with our US team, with plenty of async flexibility to sync with UK Developers.
  • Fully remote from LATAM freelance contract (full-time commitment)—you invoice monthly, and we offer competitive rates.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a full-stack developer with strong PHP (Laravel & WordPress) skills and comfortable with AlpineJS (bonus: Statamic skills)
  • Strong CSS – lots of experience making fully-responsive websites with great UX (bonus: Tailwind skills)
  • Experience running A/B tests (bonus: PostHog experience)
  • Experience working with APIs
  • Strong English skills (both written and spoken)
  • Experience working with stakeholders – comfortable talking to non-technical team members and working reactively
  • You think like a product person—always asking how to make booking simpler, faster, better for our customers
  • Comfortable working in EST/CST hours (with some overlap with the UK team)
