Full Stack AI Developer

We are hiring a Full-Stack Developer with advanced AI expertise to join our IT department on a full-time freelance/ongoing contract basis. This is a strategic role, and we are looking for someone highly experienced, technically strong, and passionate about AI.

Key Candidate Criteria

• Full-Stack Background: Must have strong, proven experience as a full-stack developer before the rise of generative AI (i.e., not someone who only started coding after AI tools became popular).
• AI Expertise: Must have experience building AI-powered tools (e.g., automation tools, AI-driven dashboards, intelligent assistants).
• Must also be skilled at using AI to enhance their coding workflow (e.g., with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).
• Should be passionate about AI and stay current with the latest models, trends, and tools.
• Team Leadership: Should be capable and willing to manage and mentor a small team of junior developers or “Vibe Coders” (developers who primarily use AI to code).

Logistics & Requirements

• Location: Candidate must be currently based in the Netherlands.
• Work Authorization: No visa sponsorship available — candidates must already have the right to work in the Netherlands.
• Work Schedule: Full-time commitment (40+ hours/week).
• Work Mode: Hybrid — must come to the office at least once a week (Mondays). Remote work is allowed for the rest of the week.
• Contract Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor only (this is not a salaried employment role).
• Compensation: Hourly rate — we’re open to reviewing rates based on experience and market feedback.
• Time Tracking: Candidate must use Hubstaff (https://hubstaff.com/) to track hours worked.
