Our challenge

We are looking for a talented Senior React Developer with a strong background in trading applications to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in React development and a solid understanding of trading systems. You will be responsible for creating dynamic and responsive user interfaces while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York , NJ is $120k - $130k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

Develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design wireframes and mock-ups into functional web applications.

Ensure the application is optimized for performance and speed across different devices and browsers.

Implement best practices for front-end performance, including lazy loading, code splitting, and optimization of assets.

Test and ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of applications.

Address any bugs or issues that arise in various browsers and devices.

Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services.

Assist in the design and implementation of web services that interact with the front end.

Identify areas for improvement in existing code and applications.

Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management and collaboration.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in front-end development.

Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance development processes.

Ensure a consistent and seamless user experience across all platforms.

Gather user feedback and analytics to inform design and functionality improvements.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with responsive design and development.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
• Understanding of SEO principles and web accessibility standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Etrading background experience.
