The Story
At Aunty Grace, they’re reimagining what support looks like for older Australians and their families. They provide an easy, compassionate, and modern way for people to access home care services — without the overwhelm. Whether it's helping someone navigate their Home Care Package, find a trusted support worker, or organise essential services like transport, cleaning, or personal care, their goal is simple: to make aging well at home easier, more empowering, and more human.
They believe the aged care experience in Australia shouldn’t feel bureaucratic, confusing, or transactional. It should feel personal. Supportive. That’s where they come in — combining tech, people, and genuine care to offer a better way forward.
As a fast-growing startup backed by a team of health, care, and tech professionals, they’re building digital tools that make life easier for clients, families, and the care coordinators who support them. We’re now looking for a Frontend Web Developer to join their small, high-impact engineering team and help shape the user experience across their platform.
The Role
As a Senior Frontend Web Developer at Aunty Grace, you’ll work closely with the CTO, product designer, and backend engineers to deliver thoughtful, accessible, and performant web experiences. You’ll play a central role in their client and staff portals — working on everything from responsive UI components to authentication flows to real-time interaction patterns.
What You’ll Do:
What You Bring To The Role
We’re looking for a developer who cares about the craft of building software — someone who takes pride in writing clean, readable code, but also knows when to be pragmatic and just get things done. You’re probably the kind of person who enjoys solving tricky UI problems, sweating the details on component behaviour, and thinking about how real users will experience what you’ve built. You’re comfortable working autonomously, open to feedback, and not afraid to ask questions or push back when something doesn’t feel right.
You want to work on meaningful problems with people who care — and you’re excited by the idea of contributing to a product that genuinely helps others.
