XILO, a fast-growing Vertical AI company recently backed by a Series A financing round, is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Frontend Engineer to elevate our Angular codebase, improve modularity, and mentor junior engineers in writing clean, maintainable front-end code.

About The Role

You’ll be at the heart of shaping the user experience for thousands of insurance professionals, wrapping powerful AI-driven automation in an intuitive, efficient, and beautiful interface.

This isn’t just another frontend job. Insurance agents spend hours wrestling with outdated, clunky systems -your work will change that. We’ve seen first-hand how much frustration our automation removes, and with your help, we’ll take it even further – creating tools that don’t just work, but feel seamless, fast, and a joy to use.

We’re building with modern frontend technologies, including Angular, to ensure high performance, efficiency, and scalability. If you’re an expert in Angular’s latest features, you’ll have a unique opportunity to push the boundaries of frontend performance and UX in a data-heavy, AI-powered platform.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on:

• Modern UI & UX for AI-Driven Automation – Designing interfaces that make complex workflows feel effortless
• Agent-Focused Productivity Tools – Crafting dashboards and interactive tools that help agencies work faster and smarter
• Seamless Platform Experience – Maintaining and evolving our design system to ensure a consistent, polished experience across the platform
• AI-Powered Browser Extensions – Building extensions that bring AI Agents to life beyond APIs, automating workflows directly on carrier portals and legacy systems that don’t support direct integrations
• Advanced PDF Processing & Rendering – Creating dynamic, interactive document management tools that handle complex insurance forms and policies seamlessly

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend development experience, with a strong foundation in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Extensive experience with Angular (15-19), including migrating projects to newer versions.
• Familiarity with NX monorepos to manage and scale frontend applications efficiently.
• Optimizing build processes to improve application performance and loading times.
• Proficient in REST API integration, including security and authentication strategies.
• Hands-on experience developing browser extensions, extending automation beyond traditional web applications.
• Bonus: Experience with WebSockets for real-time data updates and event-driven UI interactions.
• Bonus: Full-stack experience with backend technologies like Node.js and Nest.js.
