Are you a senior firmware developer and algorithm specialist with at least 10 years’ experience? Then join our innovative team at Teledyne FLIR defense!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain in FPGA embedded systems.
  • Work with legacy code, including refactoring and managing large codebases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Qualifications

  • Must Have:
  • Knowledge of FPGA development.
  • Knowledge of VHDL/SystemVerilog/Mathlab/Python.
  • AMD/Xilinx development tool Vivado.
  • AMD/Xilinx FPGA family’s series 7 and Ultrascale+
  • Development filter algorithms for image processing using FPGA.
  • Experience with embedded systems.
  • Experience with legacy code, including refactoring and managing large codebases.
  • Experience with Shell/Bash scripting.
  • Great if you have:
  • Familiarity with Quest simulation tool including code coverage.
  • Familiarity with Simulink/Vitis Model Composer
  • Familiarity with Linux/Debian environments.
  • Experience with Jenkins and Make.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Security Clearance

  • Defense Industry Standards: Due to the high-security demands of the defense industry, you will need to undergo a background check.
  • You need to be able to work in Sweden, and we perform security background checks on all our employees.
  • This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e., regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
  • We prefer applicants who are okay with working on-site from the office in Arninge/Täby.
