Your Impact As the Senior Finance Analyst, you will join forces across the finance organization and with key business leaders to drive forward and measure growth opportunities, provide financial value-adds to the forefront of product delivery. You will have great exposure of problem solving, financial modeling, reporting and building trusted partnerships across Axon. What You'll Do Location: Hybrid Presence based near our US Hubs - Scottsdale, Boston, San Francisco, Atlanta, Sterling, Denver, or Seattle * You will drive our headcount forecasting, reconciliation, and analysis process by working closely together with the finance team, HR Operations, and budget owners across the company. * You will be supporting cross-functional business partners to manage ongoing spending, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting * You will prepare monthly budget vs actual analysis, operating expense flux commentary and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis to track delivery of EBITDA goals * Active involvement in collecting, analyzing, and aggregating companywide input for multi-year planning and other modeling * You will help to drive process improvements, streamlining, and improving the functionality of our financial systems. What You Bring * Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Accounting * 2-4 years of experience in financial modeling, forecasting and business analytics in a dynamic environment, supporting both financial and operational decision makers * Proven track record of owning projects and spearheading their completion cross functionally * Experience driving process improvements focused on quality, timeliness and improved efficiency * Ability to work independently with concern for quality and deadlines * Data analysis and dynamic scenario modeling with emphasis on researching and validating modeling inputs and assumptions and ensuring their alignment with operational models and strategic goals * Experience with Adaptive Planning preferred * Experience with headcount analysis and reporting preferred * Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills for frequent interaction with financial and non-financial business leaders * Superb attention to detail, solid planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit Benefits that Benefit You * Competitive salary and 401k with employer match * Discretionary paid time off * Paid parental leave for all * Medical, Dental, Vision plans * Fitness Programs * Emotional & Mental Wellness support * Learning & Development programs * And yes, we have snacks in our offices Benefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work. Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 93,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 136,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
