IT Financial Analyst III

4.5-Month W2 Consulting Position (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Pay Rate: $62/ HR

Location: Milpitas, CA (Hybrid – 3x on-site)

Our client, a prominent global computer technology company recognized for its SSDs, USB flash drives, and memory card products, is looking for an IT Financial Analyst III to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate as a trusted advisor and business partner within IT, and other Operations team, including interacting with senior executives and their respective management teams
• Manage all aspects of spending for the organization, including but not limited to, expense, headcount and capital management, forecast, monthly re-commit, variance analysis, monthly close and management reporting
• Consolidate and provide input and analysis on key expense trends and metrics to identify risks and opportunities while ensuring a high degree of accuracy
• Conduct qualitative analysis to trend present and future operational performance
• Prepare executive presentations to review results and forecasts with management and business partners
• Support ad hoc initiatives and business cases

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst / Accountant
• Strong financial analysis, financial modeling, variance analysis, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills are a must
• Team focused with excellent interpersonal skills
• Systems and tools skills required: SmartView, Oracle Cloud, Excel and other Microsoft Suite Applications
