Our client, a mission-driven organization in the healthcare space, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support ongoing financial planning, analysis, and reporting efforts. This is a full-time consulting role with the potential to transition into a long-term position.
This role plays a critical part in providing actionable financial insights, building forecasting models, and supporting both departmental and executive-level decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
Perform variance analysis, identify key financial drivers, and communicate trends to senior leadership
Support strategic initiatives through scenario modeling, data-driven recommendations, and risk assessment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Operations, and Revenue Cycle
Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
Monitor budget-to-actual performance and provide recommendations for cost control and performance improvements
Evaluate financial health of the organization and compare performance to industry benchmarks
Stay current on economic and regulatory trends that impact organizational performance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
Minimum 4 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), with a strong foundation in financial modeling
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with BI tools and data visualization preferred
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Healthcare experience and CPA designation are preferred but not required
