Our client, a major Government Contracting company in the Northern Virginia area, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Corporate FP&A team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts to support the FP&A team
• Provide high-level support to the Finance team and collaboration with the Project and scheduling teams.
• Perform analysis of Cost and Schedule performance, communicate financial insights and project status to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts, financial models, comprehensive reports and dashboards to monitor project performance.
• Ensure financial compliance and accuracy in collaboration with project teams.
• Support the month end process with the required journals and reconciliations, including all required reporting.
• Support estimating and pricing activities, and monitor headcount, FTE’s and program spending to ensure budgets are met

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in finance, business or commerce; or equivalent experience in the workforce
• 4+ years of relevant experience in a Financial Analysis role within a GovCon organization.
• Advanced Excel Skills - Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, PowerPivot, and dashboard management.
• Experience with Oracle systems
• Ability to adapt to different situations, be proactive and organize priorities autonomously to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage financial aspects of diverse projects.
