If you have a passion for providing best-in-class technical support and a great customer experience, we invite you to join us as a Senior Field Customer Service Engineer, supporting our Spectra-Physics laser systems in China. What you will do is:

• Provide field support for our Spectra-Physics laser systems.
  
  

You may be in the field to install a new system or provide maintenance service, or use your troubleshooting abilities for repair in the field or in the house.

• Provide technical support to customers and internal sales and application teams and have opportunities to participate in customer meetings.
• Provide specialized training to customers on laser systems.
• Respond to technical questions from our customers regarding system repairs and applications.
• Stay current with the latest features and upgrades and training of new products and software.
• Maintain historical performance and repair information and document field service reports. In addition to your enthusiasm, you will bring to the team your:
• Bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred in optical physics and related.
• 5+ years of field service experience on laser knowledge of the Life & Health Sciences, Research, Micro Processing market.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with PC skills including MS Office, SAP and data analysis applications.
• Ability to travel 40% of the time in average domestically.
• Required to speak fluently in English, both verbal and written
