What You'll Do

Role:Senior Field Safety & Test Engineer

Description:

• Develop (or bring) a deep understanding of Apple products and work with cross-functional teams to identify and address safety trends in field data.
• Lead a small team of technicians and analysts responsible for
• Analyze raw data to identify trends and work with design teams to build consensus on the root cause of the observed issue and then present the findings to upper management.
• Using scientific methods, conduct failure investigations and careful disassembly of products to determine failure mechanisms.
• Manage shipping/receiving processes to efficiently receive, return and track all shipments.
• Work to improve and implement world class data collection and reporting systems.
• Good knowledge of shipping and logistics within the region, in particular shipping of lithiumion batteries is a plusEducation:
• Bachelor's degree preferred, along with 7-10 years of work experience in Safety Engineering, Safety Testing, Standards Development, and/or Failure Analyses.
• Experience in lieu of education will be considered if drawing from directly relevant fields or disciplines.
