You will be part of the European Field Application Engineering team with the key responsibility to ensure that European customers receive timely the technical support they may require. In the context of very dynamic trends for electrification in all sectors, and especially in Automotive, you will ensure that LEM sensors are designed into our customer’s systems in the most optimized way.

This position reports to the Field Application Engineers Manager Europe, currently acted interim by VP Sales Europe.


Key responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to European industrial customers with focus on the Automation and Renewable segments
  • Understand, develop, and promote appropriate solutions and product concepts matching with customer’s needs
  • Take into account new technical demands from customers and provide the response within expected lead-time
  • Identify new product requirements from customers
  • Participate in launching and follow-up the development of new adaptation projects
  • Organize and animate technical trainings for Sales, other departments and sales partners
  • Feedback to R&D and Marketing what are the technical trends and demands from the market
  • Contribute to the technical knowledge capitalization through databases, application notes, technical papers, webinars, webcasts, etc.
  • Act as daily interface with regional Sales Managers and Business Leaders to increase customer satisfaction.


Professional background

  • Electrical or Electronic Engineering degree
  • 8+ years practical experience.
  • Previous experience with sensors or semiconductors in High-Power applications, preferably in Drives and Inverters. Having designed drives / inverters previously is a plus
  • Fluent in English and German
  • A market-driven approach with the ability to determine technical priorities and tailor products
