**Primary Function**

The ideal candidate should have a high technical background with a strong understanding of audio systems, specifically Solid State Logic (SSL) including the L Series. The candidate requires experience of successfully planning and delivering events, strong problem solving skills, exposure to installed audio-visual systems.
Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000
**Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Provides top-class customer service skills, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical clients.
+ Responsible for the successful planning, staffing, and delivery of event requests within our client's event spaces, with a focus on complex audio system design and implementation.
+ Mixes live streams and broadcasts to a high standard, ensuring high-quality audio output.
+ Operation of advanced audio systems, including digital consoles (e.g., Yamaha CL/QL/Rivage, DiGiCo SD series), PA systems, wireless microphone systems, IEMs, and audio networking technologies (e.g., Dante, AES67).
+ Expertly diagnoses and troubleshoots complex AV equipment issues, providing swift and effective resolutions.
+ Responsible for the regular maintenance and organization of audio equipment, ensuring optimal working conditions.
+ Escalates complex equipment failures to appropriate in-house teams and assists with resolution to maintain service levels.
+ Maintains audio-visual equipment as required.
+ Operates and edits Pro Tools or other DAWs for pre-production, playback, and recording needs.
+ Ensures SOPs are applied and that comprehensive contingency planning is in place for event support.
+ Communicates effectively to explain our services to technical and non-technical clients.
+ Leads special projects or assignments as outlined by the leadership team, executing them within given timelines.
+ Contributes to R&D efforts, suggesting improvements to output quality, efficiency through automation/tooling, and process improvements.
+ Creates SOP documents, completes detailed event reporting, and utilizes internal systems.
+ Owns the technical support lifecycle, managing technical risks throughout pre-production planning, execution, and post-event phases.
+ Consistently delivers high-quality service to our partners.
+ Adheres to broadcast standards for remote and recorded attendees.
+ Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
+ Provides mentorship and technical guidance to junior audio technicians, fostering their development.
+ Takes ownership of the audio aspects of specific projects, collaborating with other technical departments.
+ Plans and executes complex RF coordination and spectrum management.
+ Stays current with industry trends, recommending and implementing new technologies and techniques.
+ Ensures all audio setups and operations comply with safety regulations.
+ Provides clear technical direction to the audio team during events.
+ Performs other ad hoc duties as required by the business.
**Skills & Qualifications**
+ Proficiency in Pro Tools or other DAWs, including recording, mixing, and post-production techniques.
+ Experienced in broadcast audio, with expertise in operating advanced digital audio consoles.
+ Experience with RF coordination and spectrum management.
+ Exposure to Ross Carbonite, Barco switching, Sony RCP 1500, and ETC Ion lighting desk is desirable.
+ Experience working within a gallery/master control room environment.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
+ Self-starter who demonstrates openness to learning and adapting to new technologies.
+ Strong understanding and experience with various event formats, including Q&A, training events, town hall meetings, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
+ Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
**Education & Experience**
+ Minimum 5+ years of professional technical live event production experience, with a focus on audio.
+ Previous extensive experience in FOH or Live Events operations and advanced working knowledge of digital audio consoles (e.g., Yamaha CL/QL/Rivage, DiGiCo SD series).
+ Deep familiarity with video routers, including audio level routing, embedding, and shuffling.
