Position Overview Power your future with Qualus as a Project Estimator. Qualus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator T&D to lead a team of designers and engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the estimating of T&D lines and substations for electric utilities. Responsibilities * Extensive electrical utility experience (overhead transmission, substation, and/or foundations/civil). * Estimate projects in accordance with policies and procedures with oversight while learning estimating practices and processes. * Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents. * Attend customer pre-bid meetings. * Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents. * Prepare complete labor and material cost estimates * Coordinate with project management * Prepare bills of material and other information for use by purchasing * Determine constructability requirements via field walk-downs with customer, subcontractor, and construction personnel #LI-MH1 Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree * 7+ years of tangible experience in the high voltage estimating space. The expected compensation range for this position is based upon several factors, including but not limited to education, qualifications, prior relevant work experience and work location.
