Senior Estimator – General Construction / Healthcare
Salary Range: $130k-165k.

Position Overview:
Our GC client is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their growing team, focusing on large-scale healthcare construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong estimating background, excellent communication skills, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets from conceptual design through construction documents.
- Deliver updated cost plans at major project milestones.
- Mentor and support junior estimators and project team members.
- Review and analyze design changes, technologies, and value engineering options.
- Develop cost trends by gathering and summarizing data from completed projects.
- Assess cost-saving opportunities and alternative construction methods.
- Assist with the implementation and training of new estimating tools and templates.
- Support the client’s leadership team with preconstruction and estimating presentations.
- Create and manage Life Cycle Costing models as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in estimating, cost management, or project controls within the construction industry.
- Strong background in conceptual estimating and preconstruction services.
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects and programs.
- Solid understanding of value engineering and cost control best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Healthcare construction experience (including familiarity with OSHPD standards) strongly preferred.
