Position Overview:

Our GC client is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their growing team, focusing on large-scale healthcare construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong estimating background, excellent communication skills, and a solutions-oriented mindset.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets from conceptual design through construction documents.
  • Deliver updated cost plans at major project milestones.
  • Mentor and support junior estimators and project team members.
  • Review and analyze design changes, technologies, and value engineering options.
  • Develop cost trends by gathering and summarizing data from completed projects.
  • Assess cost-saving opportunities and alternative construction methods.
  • Assist with the implementation and training of new estimating tools and templates.
  • Support the client’s leadership team with preconstruction and estimating presentations.
  • Create and manage Life Cycle Costing models as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in estimating, cost management, or project controls within the construction industry.
  • Strong background in conceptual estimating and preconstruction services.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects and programs.
  • Solid understanding of value engineering and cost control best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Healthcare construction experience (including familiarity with OSHPD standards) strongly preferred.
