Our Client is a fully employee-owned environmental consulting firm seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to join their Irvine, California office. Prospective candidates outside the Orange County area can be considered for remote work. In this role, you will serve as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, leading complex remedial projects across the Greater Los Angeles region. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact in a collaborative, technically driven environment.
Manage and execute environmental remediation projects with a focus on VOCs and petroleum hydrocarbons.
Lead the design, operation, and maintenance of a variety of remedial systems.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Develop scopes of work, budgets, and schedules, and manage project performance from initiation through completion.
Provide technical mentorship and oversight to junior and mid-level engineering staff.
10 to 25 years of experience in environmental engineering and site remediation.
California Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering is required.
Extensive experience managing remediation of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and petroleum hydrocarbons.
Proven experience in SVE system design and O&M.
Strong project management capabilities, including team leadership, client communication, and regulatory coordination.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior staff effectively.
