👨‍💻 Key responsibilities:

• Coaching, mentoring, and growing a high-performing engineering team.
• Collaborating with Product and Delivery to prioritise and execute meaningful work.
• Working with existing offshore teams but bringing more capability in-house.
• Raising the bar on engineering excellence.
• Solid background as a hands-on technologist with strong engineering leadership.
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement and autonomy.

🧠 What You Bring:

• Strong leadership in a fast-paced, product-centric environment.
• Real-world experience building and scaling cloud-native systems (AWS).
• A good sense of what “modern engineering practices” actually mean.
• Empathy, pragmatism, and ability for translating business speak into tech goals (and vice versa)
• Bonus points if you’ve wrangled teams through transformation, scale-up, or agile maturity
