The Helpful Smiles Technology Global Center (HST Global) in Bangalore is a division of the Hy-Vee IT team named as the Helpful Smiles Technology Centre based in the US. It supports Hy-Vee’s business growth and modernization needs by accelerating the adoption of technology across enterprise operations. It offers tech talent the unique opportunity to transform retail technology at Hy-Vee and understand different markets and cultural dynamics, as well as the opportunity to work locally and remotely on IT challenges. Responsibilities
•Lead and manage agile teams of developers to build, deliver, and support strategic commercial initiatives at scale.
•Responsible for engineering of digital platforms, enabling value-driven business use cases.
•Manage scrum teams of 1 to 2 development teams leading technical execution and delivery of new initiatives
•Ensure that technical solutions are in line with company standards with respect to architecture, security, compliance, testing and product direction.
•Implement industry best practices and tools to continually improve teams' ability to deliver and maintain solutions.
•Attract, mentor, guide, coach, coordinate training opportunities and support individual growth of direct reports
Experience qualification
•12 to 15 years’ experience building and supporting large scale and highly available technology solutions and directly managing or leading 3 to 4 team(s) of developers.
•Expect to have full stack exposure, to be able handle front end and backend technologies.
Required knowledge, skills or abilities
•C# and .Net core are a plus to have.
•JavaScript, React JS is a must.
•TypeScript knowledge is highly desirable.
•Know-how of the SCM tools like GitHub
•Exposure to GraphQL or Rest API is a must, should have handled multiple implementations.
•Knowledge of CI / CD and deployments is a must.
•Exposure to cloud stack is desirable – GCP would be a plus.
•Should have handled production support and know how to troubleshoot issues and incidents.
•Working with collaborative teams across regions is a plus.
Education qualifications
•Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, information science or related field, or equivalent work required.
