Senior Engineering Delivery Manager (f/m/d)

Your mission
- Leading and mentoring a cross-disciplinary technical team across customer and R&D projects in the context of naval communication systems, ensuring the seamless execution of engineering activities from system design through to integration and final customer acceptance
- Defining and implementing engineering processes, practices, and tools (PP&T) tailored to specific systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and project requirements
- Collaborating with project managers, IVVQ managers (Integration, Verification, Validation, Qualification), and work package managers to coordinate and deliver engineering solutions across hardware, software, and cybersecurity domains
- Defining and planning detailed engineering work packages for proposals and projects, ensuring alignment with performance, cost, and timeline objectives
- Identifying, evaluating, and managing technical risks and opportunities, while providing regular progress reports to project managers and maintaining an engineering project dashboard
- Your extensive experience will be critical in driving operational excellence, managing subcontractors, and facilitating resource and deployment planning while fostering continuous improvement initiatives across projects
We are looking forward to
- A completed university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven professional experience in at least one of the following areas: Systems Engineering, Software Development, Hardware Development, System Integration, or Testing
- Leadership experience in a transversal or disciplinary field
- Multiple years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical project delivery and team coordination, ideally in the defense industry
- Fluency in both written and spoken in German and English
- strong willingness to develop professionally and take on new technical challenges
