Must have the following experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience in software design and implementation; Proficiency in C++, Object Oriented Analysis & Object Oriented Design Methodologies; Experience with Multi-threaded Programming; Experience with CMake build systems; Experience with Real time Operating Systems; Demonstrated ability to understand and learn existing C++ software project; Demonstrated ability to work independently to develop new control software features for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems or a closely-related field, and at least two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation. Nominal local travel may be required (less than 2%) for meetings and conferences. Designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging software programs for enhancements and new products; Developing software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools; Determining hardware compatibility and/or influencing hardware design; Working closely with multi-site software teams to coordinate with his counterparts from around the globe to deliver software features that support advanced packaging equipment; Working with system engineers to draft proposals for value-added vision features/solutions to improve machine UPH/Accuracy/MTBA; Interacting with other subsystem engineers (Mechanical, Electrical, Motion, etc.) and helping to assess different design alternatives for pros and cons; Designing and coding the software using C++ language; Reviewing and co-specifying software requirements; Implementing and testing the software; Helping oversee and manage engineers in India, which includes supporting designs and supplying tasks from the design.
