Summary

Developing the most suitable sequence for operations for the tender and ongoing projects , in coordination with the tender &construction and other involved party , in addition to planning and overseeing the entire program of work; anticipate a project's demands in terms of staff , labors, materials, equipment ,technical requirements and mobilization plan .

  • Principal Accountabilities:
  • Prepare and update of work breakdown structures to enable the associated resource and cost budgets of all tender, running & future projects in Primavera P6 Professional.
  • Prepare the project execution plan with work sequence and the method statement
  • Manage, monitor a schedule of planned resources required to deliver the project. Check the resources against the fee to ensure they balance forecast.
  • Identify risk issues and their order of magnitude.
  • Determine critical path schedule and sequence of work.
  • Develop the Manpower and Equipment Histograms.
  • Create and review tender Schedules during bidding phases.
  • Create and review baselines, recovery/revised and updated periodic schedules.
  • Lead and prepare the project indirect cost (Staff, mobilization, site offices and other) for all tender (Tender &Ongoing) projects
  • Lead and prepare the technical proposal for all tender projects
  • Regularly review resource usage against the schedule and recommend/take corrective action where required.
  • Generate detailed and executive summary reports for higher management.
  • Monitor and analyse progress & efficiency of each project and report to supervisors and managers
  • Maintain a database of projects progress
  • Assist in the review and preparation of documents to support claims management and in particular extensions of time.
  • Preparation of Project Budget/cash flow & Calculation of detailed man-hours, machine hours, etc.

Civil Engineering

  • Degree


Bachelor degree

  • Years of Experience


8+ years of experience in planning management and cost engineering

  • Skills and Competencies


TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL

  • Proven experience in managing a team
  • Planning of Professional Services
  • 8+ years of experience in planning management and cost engineering
  • Certification in planning and scheduling of projects and in using Primavera applications (Primavera Project Management / P6 and Primavera Contract Management / Expedition).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle complex situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Design and construction Experience

  • Good communication skills (excellent command of spoken and written English)
  • Good Analysing skills.
  • Work under pressure
  • Good Managerial skills


COMPUTER & SOFTWARE

  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • (AutoCAD, Primavera, Project management, Estimation software …)
