Title: Senior Engineer (P&C Substation Design)

Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid in Greater Chicago Area

An expanding engineering firm headquartered in Chicago is seeking skilled engineers to join its Substation Protection and Control (P&C) Design team. They are hiring multiple positions to contribute to their growing list of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform relay upgrades and develop one-line and single-line diagrams.
• Create wiring diagrams and design/upgrade protection and control schemes.
• Develop AC/DC schematics and conduct QC/QA on projects.
• Serve as a technical point of contact with clients.
• Participate in single and multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
• Manage single or multidisciplinary projects.
• Review engineering deliverables.
• (Senior Engineer) Supervise direct reports.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of electrical engineering experience focused on power systems or substations.
• EIT certification required.
• PE license strongly preferred for Senior positions.
