Job Description

Job Description:

• As a Senior engineer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
• Design and development of core firmware components for the controllers from Microchip.
• Participate in detailed design and code reviews of implementations by team.
• Design and development of unit test scripts.
• Work in collaboration with other Microchip sites to design solutions and resolve customer issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex firmware problems in embedded real-time systems.
• Write comprehensive engineering documentation.
  
  

Requirements/Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

• The candidate must have good experience of Embedded C programming language.
• The candidate must have good knowledge of RTOS concepts and very good understanding of microcontrollers
• 4+ years of experience in C programming and strong debugging skills
• Knowledge of storage protocol - NVMe and PCIe protocol
• Knowledge of Protocol analyzers, exercisers, and Logic analyzers
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science
• Knowledge of programming scripting languages like Groovy/Python/Perl is a plus
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Strong interpersonal skills
