We are urgently seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer for a 6-month remote contract to work on cutting-edge real-time audio processing solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux-based software development, DSPs, remote device monitoring, and deterministic audio transport over Ethernet (AVB/TSN).
Key Responsibilities
Immediate start – critical project needs!
Develop and optimize real-time audio processing software on Linux-based embedded systems.
Work with dedicated DSPs to ensure low-latency performance.
Implement deterministic audio transport over Ethernet using AVB/TSN protocols.
Develop and maintain Linux kernel components and device drivers.
Utilize unit testing frameworks and configure build systems (CMake, Yocto).
Troubleshoot and optimize Ethernet-based communication protocols for real-time audio.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Key Skills & Experience
Strong C programming skills and Linux kernel development experience.
Expertise in real-time audio processing and DSP-based optimizations.
In-depth understanding of AVB/TSN and Ethernet-based communication protocols.
Hands-on experience with CMake, Yocto, and unit testing frameworks.
Familiarity with Linux audio subsystems and driver development.
Experience with Docker and open-source contributions is a plus.
